Places with Hidden Stories is a collaborative video installation developed with dance artists Art Bridgman and Myrna Packer in connection with their dance performance Ghost Factory at the Broome County Forum Theatre.
The project brought together footage filmed in abandoned buildings with recorded interviews and voices, juxtaposing the physical traces of these spaces with personal stories of displacement, memory, labor, and belonging.
As one of four-person MFA student team, I contributed cinematography and post-production, creating one of four video works for the installation. My piece focused on the immigrant experience.
